I Tried Building an App With NO CODE and This Happened!

Summary

I've just checked out a video by a creator diving deep into the no-code realm, focusing on building a functional app without the traditional coding know-how. This is especially intriguing for us, the software and marketing enthusiasts, as it highlights the power of no-code tools like Base 44, and how even non-coders can harness these to create something useful. The creator embarks on a journey experimenting with different platforms—Lovable and Supabase, against Base 44—to figure out which is more efficient in creating apps that are innovative and functional. If you're curious to see how someone navigates building an app from scratch without hardcore coding, check out this video to see their experiences first-hand.

In the video, Base 44 is highlighted as the centerpiece tool, famous for being sold to Wix for $80 million. This platform offers an all-in-one solution, simplifying the app development process by including everything in its dashboard, which means no need for external integrations like Supabase. Base 44’s competitive edge lies in its ability to be a playground for tech enthusiasts wanting to build apps affordably—starting with a free plan and basic functionalities that can be expanded with a $20/month starter plan. The creator is trying to create a YouTube marketing suite, which resonates well with our community who are always on the lookout for tools that enhance productivity in content and marketing strategies.

Interestingly, the video contrasts different no-code tools and draws parallels to Greta, a tool also discussed in the past, pointing out Base 44’s efficiency in resource usage as compared to competitors. If you're keen to see how no-code tools can eliminate barriers in tech startups and app development, you would find this discussion enlightening. This video isn’t hosted by me, so for an in-depth understanding, make sure to watch their content to explore everything they tackle.

Here are some key takeaways from the video:

  • Base 44 was bought by Wix for $80 million.
  • The tool offers all-in-one functionalities, making it very newbie-friendly.
  • Subscription starts at free with 5 messages a day, with the next tier being $20/month.
  • A fantastic option for building an MVP when compared to the cost of hiring developers.
  • The creator plans to build a YouTube marketing suite, a project relevant to our interests.
  • Base 44's efficiency significantly outperforms Greta in areas like speed and credit usage.
  • The product has a rapidly growing user base, supporting its relevance and popularity.
  • Subscriptions offer different message limits that can be compared against competitors like Greta.
  • There's a strong focus on creating useful tools for YouTube creators, aligned with our domain interests.

So, if exploring how far no-code applications can take aspiring software developers and businesses in digital marketing excites you, definitely give this creator's journey a look.

How To Take Action

I would suggest implementing a no-code tool like Base 44 if you're interested in building an app without coding skills. Start with the free plan to explore its features and understand how it fits your needs. It's a low-cost way to test ideas and see if it's the right platform for you.

A good way to get started is by defining a simple app idea that could solve a personal or business problem, like a YouTube marketing tool. Using Base 44, you can quickly create a prototype with basic functionalities. This helps you learn the platform while building something potentially useful.

Once you’re comfortable with the basics, consider upgrading to the $20/month starter plan. This gives you more flexibility and allows for more extensive testing and development. Think of it as a small investment towards saving thousands on developers for a working app.

I recommend setting aside a bit of time each day to learn and experiment with different features. This incremental approach can gradually build your skills without overwhelming you. It's also helpful to revisit the app you create and continually improve it based on feedback and your learning curve.

Engaging in communities or forums about Base 44 or other no-code tools can provide insights and tips from others who are on the same journey. This collaboration often leads to new ideas and solutions to common problems.

Remember, the goal is to make technology work for you without needing a coding background, so take advantage of these tools to drive personal or business growth efficiently.

I've been doing a couple videos about no code, trying to build different apps and so forth. And I'm going to end up diving really deep into this because it's a big interest of mine. Why not do that and show you guys along the way as somebody is learning it, becoming very familiar with it and trying to build a real app. I'm not a coder. I have some experience. I'm can be pretty pretty technical at times. I've hired developers, worked with developers, all kinds of stuff. I've always built my own websites and so forth. So decent techy stuff, but definitely not a developer or coder, don't know any languages or anything like that. What I want to do is there's still some technical pieces with no code that we have to learn if we're actually going to have a chance to build an app. I'm going to be using lovable and subbase to test apps. I might and one of the tests that you want to stick around is that I might build one app in like for example, you can see base 44 we're going to be looking at today. But then I might take that same app and try to build it in Lovable and Subabase and then come back and report to you guys which one was easier. Which one do we kind of think ended up turning out to be the best app, right? So I'm going to have to pay for these tools. I'll have to pay monthly for Lovable. I have to pay for Bass 44 is definitely a paid app as well. This is a new and upcoming software and there'll be a link below if you want to check this one out. Important things to know about Bass 44. The creator of this software created it and launched it in six months and he was able to sell it to Wix, the giant website creation and hosting platforms. Wix is one of the biggest ones on the planet. We come over here and take a look. Create websites with no limits. We can go take a look at it. They get 36 million visitors per month on Wix. Appsumo gets 2 million visitors per month. So, it's like 30 times bigger than even giant sites like AppSumo. This is a really big website. This company here paid $80 million for this site. I believe the owner that created it is still on the team. They hired him to continue to run the app, but they just bought it from him. That just tells you about the direction of where AI is going and what Wix saw in this tool to be able to purchase this for $80 million. So, there's some really unique features that I like about Base 44. I want to go and just look at the front page first. So, here's their page. They're growing rapidly. They already have 1.3 million people going to this site and this was just built 6 months ago and they really only came to kind of full scale and actually kind of launching it and promoting it over during the last 3 months. So this tool is definitely taking off at rapid speeds. It's a bolt cursor lovable dev alternative. The thing that stands out about this tool is that everything is built into it. So you don't even have to connect with Subabase. You don't have to connect with anything. Everything is already built into the dashboard. So, it's going to be even easier to learn for newcomers. It is a little bit on the pricier side, but if you're building an app, if you're going to pay for developers, you're going to be spending 5 10 $15,000 just to get an MVP on a software. And I know this because I've already tried. And this software might be able to get you to that point. You might be paying like 20 or $50 for the entire month, right? So, we're going to dive in. We're going to build an app together. I probably won't be able to build it from start to finish in this video. So, you're going to want to make sure to subscribe to the channel so you can see my next update video. We'll continue to do these steps together. This is what B 44 looks like. Go to the pricing right over here. It starts with free and I'm on the free version. I already built a really cool looking app with five messages. What I like about messages over here is it's able to do a bunch in one message and it's fast as well. The speed is fast. I've already tested it. I'm going to show you what I just built. I do want to build a really cool YouTube application that helps YouTubers with ideation and titles and managing what videos are doing well for them. A YouTube marketing suite that will have a lot of other features built in. So, I kind of want to build this. I guess it's kind of building in public type thing. I want to build this because it's something that will solve things that I do on a daily basis. I want to build a tool that's gonna first and foremost be helpful to me as a YouTube creator and then to anybody else that wants to do YouTube as well. Okay, you got your free plan and you get five messages per day. You get 25 messages per month, which is awesome. The pitfall of that is you'll only get five per day and that's kind of how they get you. You get into this coding zone. You're everything's really pumping and kicking out and you're really excited and then boom, you can't use your limits anymore and you're like, "Well, I only used four or five." But it's because you only get five messages per day. They balance that out and it's just a good premium way of doing it, a premium model. They're giving you I was able to build an app that actually looks really well and get the prototype of it with five messages or less. I did that yesterday, but then I wasn't able to further work on it. If I wanted to, I would have needed to pay. Now, here's the reality of this. If you really are going to build an app, you're going to be doing more than five messages per day. You're going to need to fix things and do all kinds of things. going to need to jump up to the starter plan, right? You're going to need $20 a month. I think that's reasonable to pay for a premium software that's coding software for you that's going to host the database and host everything for you. It's actually when you look at it like that because you're going to end up needing to pay for Superbase and all that anyways for all these other tools. You're going to have a tech stack. That's something that you need. You can't build a tool and make a bunch of money completely free. You're going to need hosting. You're going to need all that stuff, right? And so $20 is actually a pretty good deal, I think. And I can kind of get a sense of it because I've already used the tool. But but the 20-month I'm going to be upgrading right now here in a minute probably because we can go I have five new credits. I should be able to show you a little bit of the software. But I'll probably be up updating to the starter plan 100 messages. What I like about the messages right here is that unlike a Greta AI for example, I did a few videos on that. Every time I wanted to do something or edit something, it was 10 credits. So, they just blow up their credit pull to 500 or a,000 or whatever it is, and then every time you want to use the tool, it's 10 credits, right? It's kind of confusing the way that they all choose to do the credit system. I really like when it's just one message every time you chat with the bot and they also have a question where if you just have a question for the AI, but you don't want to implement anything, that won't cost any credits to my understanding. And so, it's very flexible. Overall, I think the big selling point for Bass 44 is that it does everything for you all in one. Even on another level than even Lovable and Suba Base and Greta and Subabase, they've implemented it. They've done a good job with implementing all that into their tech into that platform. Base 44, the guy that created this just created everything like the the system builds the database and hosts everything for you. So, everything is built into one right over here with the exception, I think, of Stripe. uh you'll have to I believe you'll have to implement Stripe and that's pretty much it. Then as you grow, let's say you outgrow this and you got a big tool or whatever, you're going to need to go into the builder plan, the pro plan, the elite plan. And at 1,200 messages, that is a lot, right? So that's actually with Greta, for example, for context, it's kind of like for every time you do an edit in Greta, it's 10 credits and they do 3,000 credits per month on their max plan. If you did 1,200 messages right here and you multiplied that by 10 times each, this would be a credit pack of 12,000 credits on Greta. It's four times as much as you would get on that tier 4 all-in plan on Greta. Just to give you guys some context cuz I know that you guys watch my Greta videos that Greta is a lifetime deal tool that looks really cool on the surface. It's available currently at the time of recording this video on AppSumo. I think that it's going away extremely soon. If we go over here to shop, it might have already left to be honest with you. Let's go over here and look. I think it's actually gone, guys. Let's go over here and just type in Greta. I believe there's extended access for plus members. At the time of recording this video, you can go and get Greta. It does have solid four-star ratings, 150 reviews. I got to tier four. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. That's why I do these comparisons. At the end of the day, what I'm learning about No Code so far is that the paid monthly subscription tools are far more advanced. A company that paid $80 million for Base 44 means they've really investigated the tools, know how good it is. Love the coding, the infrastructure, the securityurities built in. This is a massively funded tool. And that's why I want to pay $20 a month for this. I want the good stuff. I want something I know is going to be around for a year or two if I'm going to go all in and build an app an actual SAS business or software around this, right? Whereas when you buy lifetime deal softwares, they're not at this point yet. They haven't made it to the big time, you don't know what's going to happen. And then just quite frankly, just fooling around with base 44 and comparing it to the hours, probably four hours I spent in Greta. Base 44 is light years or leap years ahead of Greta. It's not even close. Base 44 wins. The real question for me is going to be kind of base 44 versus Lovable. Those are going to be the two tools you're probably going to see the most videos from me on cuz I'm going to be learning Lovable. I've already built apps in Lovable, at least prototypes, and it's can do amazing things. They definitely are like kind of the industry leader in my opinion for all-in-one really quick getting things out. Let's go and take a look at what I've done. I'm actually going to go in and start building. Let's log in real quick and I'll show you what we came up with. This is what the dashboard looks like. Do they have a dark mode? I'm not really sure. Billing profile. No, I don't see a dark mode, but they have an API key, too. So, I'm not really sure what the API key is. You get a unique API key assigned to you when you sign up, or are you able to take that API and do something with that? That's pretty cool as well. I'm thinking I'm probably going to change the name. So, this is just going to be the dummy name for now. At some point, the name clickbait actually suggests that the video or the content does not deliver on the thumbnail or the title. So, I guess I don't really want to be known for that, like creating clickbait but not delivering. I'll probably change the name, but this is what we're rolling with right now. Clickbait Genius. It's going to be a YouTube tool, right? And so, let me show you what we did in B 44. We can scroll all the way up. This is really cool. I fed it all this information, which is crazy that it was able to finally take all the information because it was getting errors. I just loaded the hell out of the prompt. You probably want a nice 500 to a,000 character prompt. It kept getting errors. I stepped away and then when I came back and I logged in the next day, the software was built. It kind of fixed itself on the back end or something. It was able to work its way and work its magic. Okay, let's just go I'll take you through this and then I'll reverse engineer and tell you how I did this, how I came up with the prompt and everything. But this is what we're looking at. Let's see if I can do a preview. Well, we're on the preview. I think we'll just stick with this right here. I don't really want to publish it. I guess it goes live or whatever, but I don't really want to publish it, but I wanted to look at it. Oh, okay. Look at this. We can make it a little bit bigger. That's cool. Okay. So, it's ClickBank Genius. We have dashboard, title generator, title, library, and analytics. We even have this dark mode. We would probably want to adjust this dark mode, but that's kind of cool. It gives you another color. I kind of like that. That's a little different than a dark mode. The white background just a little bit darker. But overall, I think it's cool. It does this gradient black to kind of white there. Pretty cool. But let's go with the white. These are the colors that I told it to use. Color palette and everything. Blue and things like that. So, what you do basically is you go, this is what the dashboard looks like. You have 10 titles so far. And notice all the animations, the hover effects. We can adjust all those. It looks like a professionalgrade tool. Really cool. Gives a pro tip. Use emotional hooks in your titles to increase blah blah blah. And you can try that now. It's going to take you right to the page to try. We'll go back to dashboard. You can see what your recent titles were. Quick actions. You can generate new titles there. Or you can go to the title generator right here. Really easy stuff. We have this error over here. We can resolve that later. But just want to show you what we were able to create. I want to get some feedback from you guys. If I'm actually creating this tool, would you want to be able to get granular and put context into the box or would you just want to do a phrase like how to grow YouTube subscribers and let the AI come up with the titles? But this is kind of the way that I did this. So, it's create viral YouTube titles that get clicks using AI powered optimization. So, the video topic would be how to use chat GPT to make money. So target audience would be make money online. It'll be entrepreneurs. It'll be internet marketers and AI. So we're going to type that in. We have our tones. I'm going to probably narrow this down. It's too many to choose from. We don't want to give people too many options. I would definitely narrow all this down, but let's go with shock and surprise or urgency and scarcity. That's really cool. Then we would go in with the style and emotional hooks. Let's go with that. We have listicles, howto, all kinds of good stuff, but I'm going to go with emotional hooks because those probably work the best. And then generate 10 titles. Then the software is going to go out there and generate our 10 titles for us. Once it's done, boom, we have the issue. Let's go and resolve this issue. We got all these nice titles right over here. We'll look at those in just a minute, but I want to show you resolve with AI. It's saying we have a code. I'm going to click the resolve with AI right here. Boom. That button's not working. So, please help me fix the error. to fix the code. Uh 422. Oh, there we go. Editing. Okay, so uh it's resolved. So, it actually did that. It just took a minute. So, it looks like you're encountering a validation error. It just fixed the code a few seconds ago. Boom. Done. Quick, quick, quick. Here's our generated titles right here. And I'm not sure what do you guys think. I would like a lot of feedback actually. It' be kind of cool to kind of build the tool together. Now, this page right here, do you think that after generating the titles, we would want a page to show up that has all these titles on it, or do you like how it just kind of floats underneath? Either way, I'm always thinking of the user journey and the best flow. This shows up underneath. You can regenerate. You can see unlock five secrets to making money with Chad GBT. We have our perfect links, and this is all stuff that I added in there because of my knowledge with YouTube and titles not getting truncated and all that. Now you can see over here we have our optimized characters. The software really likes under 50 characters is like a perfect length and that's why we're getting that. This one's 52. Still says it's a perfect length right over here. But how Chad GBG can make you rich. Don't miss out. Last chance transform GBT. These are right out of the box that this system's doing. I tried to build this exact tool in Greta and it just failed every time. Even when I would say don't just do this verbatim or exact, it would have a really hard time coming up with the topics. All these topics look really well and I haven't even trained it yet. These titles that this software will create are going to be based on my everyday workflow, a massive project knowledge and claude that I've been developing over the last year or two. I will be turning that process into actual software. And so the training on this will get really good, but I have to find out how to implement that in B 44. a really good knowledge base can train this AI to create the best performing titles based on real actual research that we know that the titles perform really well on YouTube. But still, like I said, these titles are all under 70 characters and they are really good. at make money online the chat GBT strategy investor like it has some good ideas already out of the box and it's not just taking verbatim this right here how to use chat GBT to make money now I want to put an option over here to say that this keyword that you put in right here has to be part of every single suggested title for those that are trying to do YouTube SEO that's important as well I want that option as well so believe me I have a lot of ideas to make this the coolest YouTube ideation generation title creation app out there. You got all these titles right over here and you can copy to clipboard. You get that graphic right there. So that's copied. You can also save. You can go and save these right here and the title save to library. Now you can go into the title library. Once you go into the title library, we can go and assign and some of these things are going to be implemented now because I'm going to show you the next steps. But this is just what it looks like, right? we would be able to control the category because let's just say you have a channel and you are talking about Chad GBT but then maybe next you want to talk about how to make money with a claude right so then you're going to have like a category claude and then different categories maybe your five or six main categories that you create content on that you kind of would categorize your content on then you can actually load those in here you would mark it and then we would in the analytics page know what content is bringing in the most views which is cool as well we'll talk about that in a minute but we have our views We have our created and the edit button doesn't do anything right now, but it will. You'll be able to create push the edit button and edit the title or add your own title as well. And then the edit button, you would be able to add the view count and all that. We have a basic filter setup, views, categories. None of these are assigned with categories, but we could come over here. I was trying to look at favorites. I wanted to mark it as favorites, but we could go in and see like, okay, those videos are published. So, if we wanted to look at just published, here's all of our published videos. We also have these favorites right over here. I want to be able to filter by favorites so that we know those are next up on the deck we want to use. So far, you'd have your title library that would manage your content plan. Maybe we could even do a content plan and all that. You can tell that my ideas for the software are pretty extensive, but also I need to keep in mind that like you want to launch with a just a really nice functioning software that it can be mind-blowing but doesn't do too much. Then you can add features. That's exactly why an there's a an MVP, minimal viable product. You don't want to go out there and spend all this time developing a software where 60% of what you built, people aren't even going to use it, right? So maybe I get feedback from you guys, leave comments below, oh, I would add this feature. It'd be cool if I do this or whatever. And then maybe we kind of build that tool together. Finally, you go into analytics. And this is what's really cool. This is where I was also thinking of uh using if you know you would log in as a user and you would put your YouTube API key in there or maybe I build that on the back end and all you have to do is put your channel URL and then it will literally pull for your channel the last the views that you've gotten in the last 28 days, the views over the last 90 days and how many videos you've published in the last 28 days and your high performers. So look at this top performing title from zero to 100K subscribers. my complete blueprint, but it gives you how many views you got and all that. There'll be a button right here. You can push that generate more titles like this. So then you can just take your top performing title and continue to replicate content like that cuz you know it performed well on your brand. There's some really cool things that we could do from an analytic standpoint as well. Then you got your top categories and this is where that category comes in where we assign what category you're putting your videos in. What are you making content on? And then you could come in here and it will tell you that you created two titles in the last 28 days. and you got this many views and then you can start looking at, oh wow, if one of these stands out, I only created one title on growth and it did the best. I need to start creating more content on that. So, you can see how this could be a really useful tool for data analysis, tracking everything, creating new titles and so forth. So, this is the t this literally built this guys in page 44. Link will be below. Go pick this up. Go start your free account. This literally built this in like an hour of me having to step away. I'm going to show you a little bit more about that, so stick with me. It built it on the free plan in five or less prompts. I wasn't able to get this version in Greta using like 300 plus credits. That's more than tier one and that's spending like a couple hours and it was it's very slow. This software here is very fast and impressive. You have a lot of different things you can do. can actually visually edit something. So, if you don't like, you can click on the visual edit and then I believe you can hover over something and switch the SVG out for something you created in Canva or something. Or you could say switch this out to something else as well. So, we'll do more tutorials on that. This is more of an overview of my initial experience using B 44. Now, you can come back up and see this massive prompt. ClickBank Genius, a platform we're going to use. YouTubers of all sizes, primary functionality right here, what we want it to do, primary colors, boom, color palette. Look at how big this right here is. I'm the one that told it for the drop- down menu right there. We probably need to update that. It's too big. I need to separate them out. And some of them kind of duplicate with a different style and tone. I want those to be two different things. And then you keep coming through over here. Generation output. So, we got all this stuff. We loaded this whole thing. Where did I get that big giant bump from? And then it just went to work and it actually created this really cool. A lot of things that you can do in here I wanted to show as well is that if you go into this part right here, that's how you look at it in real time and full screen. I'm new to the software and I'm sure you haven't heard of it. How do I get back out of this? I'm going to go to the dashboard because the dashboard is where you're going to have all your users right here. So, you're going to be able to look and see what users are part of this, what they've how many titles they've generated and their YouTube channel. We could keep track of their YouTube channel. Then you have your data. You've got your titles that were created, categories. Look at this brilliant thing here. We didn't have to connect this to Superbase. This is part of your membership. You get this inside of Base 44. It creates its own database and hosts it as part of Base 44. So, there is no need for Superbase or anything like that. That is why this is a true all-in-one. Then you have your analytics right over here. Generator, dashboard, what pages are being used the most, how many users you have, top user. is is if you create an app in Base 44, this is already natively going to be you're going to get access to analytics from an admin standpoint, unique users over time, unique usage over time. Look at all that. Then you can go and hook up your own domain. You have your security features right over here. You have your code. You can get all the code. You can't do that unless you're on a paid plan. We'll go back over here. You have API. So you can actually go and this is where you'll be able to update your actual API settings. Like if you want to put in claw or something like that. Here you can update the logo of the entire application that you're building. You can go with your app settings over here. There's a bunch of different app settings and authentication. You can turn on if you want people to be able to log in with Google, Microsoft, Facebook. You can turn that stuff off. We'll come back in over here to preview. And this is what it'll look like even on mobile right there. Pretty cool. And then we click this little icon over there. And then we can get this to the chat dashboard. How I came up with all that prompting and everything is I actually went over to chat GBT and I put this in. You can pause the video and read this, but it's a huge prompt over here. Then I asked for it to create a product requirement document including design specs and more. So it took my idea of the software and then it really dove in really deep and it asked me questions because I asked it to ask me questions. So it asked me 28 questions. I answered all those questions right there and then it came out and it was like this massive document. It's not that one. That's the prompt. So, here's the document that it came up with that I actually used. This huge piece of information. I was like, let's see what B 44 can actually do. I copied that entire thing and I pasted in and that's what you saw way up here and it actually created this software right here. Some stuff is not working like the edit feature and title library. We're still going to have a lot of work make this happen and make it work really well. But just the fact that it was able to create the prototype like this with mockup dummy information and so forth is very impressive. That right there was very impressive. What we could do is I kind of said just create implementation steps and so forth. So we can click over here and you can see that it created 37 implementation steps that we're going to need to do and make sure everything's set up. Basic structure of the app and design setup base 44 project with clean white gray layout. So, I'll probably skip that one. So, I need some of it's done. Homepage and landing page. Do you want this to host your landing page? Because if you really want to launch a real app and put it on Product Hunt and and build a blog around it so you can create content, rank it to get there's a popular way to start getting traffic. You're probably not going to want to build the entire thing on an application like Base 44 or Lovable because you're not going to have that content management system built in. and you're not going to have all the advantages that you would with WordPress, other content management systems. And so you might want to install the app on app dot in your domain and then you would take that and hook it up into base 44. But then you would have your main domain, your landing page and then you would have a blog set up as well. So there's that's something that you know is going to be there's multiple different ways you can do it. I have to decide if I want to do that or not, but I don't have to do that right now. But now, email password authentication, right? So then you would go and grab this right here and let's just say we're going to implement number three. So then we would go over here, we would paste that in and boom, cuz we don't have a way to actually sign up. Now I'm going to show you the application at work. It's going to go and create this for us and we'll be right back. So you can see right here it says, I understand you're looking to implement a traditional email and password authentication system. That's a very common feature in web applications. However, on the Base 44 platform, user authentication is secure built-in service that is handled automatically. So, that's so cool. It has its own error handling. It's like, oh, wait, but we're not going to do it the way that you have to do it on every other app. We already do it and handle everything for you. Super cool. So, what does it say then? What do we need to do to ensure the highest level of security and simplicity? The platform currently uses Google's O system for all signups and loginins. This provides a secure and seamless experience for users without them needing to remember another password because this is a core managed part of the platform. This existing authentication system is deeply integrated and cannot be replaced. So that's fine. You know what? We would need the landing page then. Can you build us a landing page? Okay, cool. So can you build a landing page? We do need that landing page. That's the way we're going to build it for now and then we will figure out the rest if we want want to keep the landing page or not. But you can see right here, this is base 44 at work. Create landing page for clickbait genius editing the landing page. And this isn't going to be my official base 44 review. I want to get a lot of experience using this tool. I have a really good feeling about this tool and I want to use the tool a lot. Then I'll put out an official base 44 review video. So you can see right here it is analyzing title format options for selection. Let's see editing landing page. And you can see the status of that little circle right there blue. And then when it's done it will be done and we'll probably have like a login and so forth. So it's created a stunning landing page for clickbait genius with modern design compelling features showcase testimonies pricing plan and integrated Google a sign up right over here. So what you can do about base 442 as well is you can actually click this discuss button. So, it shouldn't take any of your messages and I can say, "Where do I find the landing page that you just created?" So, you're chatting with it like a chatbot, and you're it's actually shouldn't be doing any actions that would require t taking one of our allotted messages for the month or the day. Perfect. In order to make this your landing page, which is super cool, it tells you what to do. It gives all these helpful tips right here. And so we would need to set the settings which is going to be right. No, not right there. You're going to click on dashboard. Look how easy it is to get to things right here. This is your app visibility. You can change that as well. You're going to go over here into app settings and then your main page. Right now we have it on the dashboard, but we could go into the landing page. Look at all those. We have the options. So you can actually select the landing page. I'm not going to do that right now cuz I want to go back over here and see. So, let's just do that together, guys. We're going to go over here. We're going to go into settings, app settings, and then we'll go and make the main page the landing page. And then what we'll do is we'll go back over to preview. And then we'll be looking at the landing page that it created. I believe we are logged in. So, I'm going to go over here and log out of our application that we built. This is the landing page with the signup form. This is our signup form, which is great. We did tell it to create a landing page, but maybe we didn't. We probably would need to tell it that we want a landing page and then the form is like the second step or something like that. I think that that's how that kind of works. But you can see it kind of blinked right there that there is an actual landing page. I'm just not able to find it. Okay, so this is what I put. I switched to the landing page and I'm only seeing a signup form. Where's the actual landing page? You're absolutely right. Let me look at the landing page code. I created it. It seems like there might be an issue where only signup form is showing instead of the full landing page with all the sales copy features, testimonials, and pricing sections. It says it's designing the web page header. One thing that's kind of I would like to scroll down and actually read what it's doing down here, but it doesn't let us see that. I don't know why. Once it's done with that, it does show us that, but it is saying it's designing the web page header and hero, creating the features, display cards, blah blah blah. Okay, perfect. So, now you'll be able to see what ends up happening. This has only taken about 2 or 3 minutes and just in comparison with other tools like Greta, this I could be sitting here for the next 20 30 minutes trying to get this same task done. It was very slow and so I like the speed at which this does things, implements things and fixes things. The page now includes all the sales copy. So applying actions and you can see that this is the last message that we will be able to do. This was kind of a two-parter. You don't really have a lot of control over that. I think it fixed something and it also is applying the actions. You can see right over here, messages left today 66. After this happens right here, that's the last message that I get. I'm going to go on to pay for the $20 plan to see where that gets me. And if I end up outgrowing that plan, then I'll move to the $50 plan because I really want to build. I have a really good idea of building this tool. But at the same time, I'm going to be learning Lovable and Subase and so forth. I might even try to build this exact same app and maybe that will be different like this kind of building in public building with both tools and then at the end of the day kind of having the experience of cuz you never know exactly 100% what what tool was best if you didn't build tried to build the exact same tool in both. So if you made it this far in the video, leave a comment below if you think that I should build the same tool. So just type in same tool in base 44 and lovable. Then I'll know what you mean. It means that you agree I should build the same tool, spend twice as much time in both and pay for both platforms and do all this for research purposes for you guys to see which tool was easier to use, most cost effective, faster, and which one was able to pull it off and get us all the way to the end zone. That might be kind of cool. But the other idea is maybe just type something in there, build two different apps. If you say build two different apps in the comments below, I'll know that you guys watch the entire video. I really appreciate you. I'll be making longer form content like this, 30 minutes to an hour long. If you really want to see someone go on the journey on no code, because there's a lot of people out there saying you can do it, but you can see that it's actually more technical than you think. It might not be for everybody, and you have to be patient and willing to learn. And then there's a lot of hype on all these apps as well, and we just don't know which one is really the best. Some say cursor is the best. Some say it's really really hard to get it's it's hard to understand. There's a lot of these no code apps out there and they might all be different and better at certain things. But if you think they would be beneficial, I just say build two apps. Then I could build another app that I have an idea about. Come up with a cool idea or leave comments below if you want to see me build a certain app or something like that and maybe I would build that one. Okay, so we're logged in and log back out. We don't have any more credits for today. So unfortunately, we're not going to be able to look at that landing page. So I do like the error handling. It says some errors were detected. Base 44 is going to try to fix them automatically. It's trying to do what it can. I'll come back. Maybe this will be my video tomorrow. Thanks for joining me. Let me know if you like this content. If you're interested in this as well. Thanks for joining me. Thanks for watching the channel. I really appreciate you. We will be back in the next video.
