Writeseed AI Review: Are Unlimited AI Words Worth It?

Writeseed Review

Hey everybody, welcome back to the blog. Today, I am excited to dive into “Writeseed,” an AI writer platform that reached out to me for a review. They are currently featured on Appsumo, and in this post, we’ll explore everything from the dashboard to the new features they have added. Let’s get started!

What is Writeseed?

Writeseed is an AI-driven content creation tool. It competes with other AI writers like Word Hero, Rytr, and Nichesss. While Word Hero has not impressed me and Nichesss and Rytr are some of the original AI tools in the market, Writeseed brings something different to the table with its latest updates.

Competitors

  • Word Hero: Available on Appsumo, but not very efficient.
  • Nichesss: One of the originals but quite dated.
  • Rytr: Another AI tool I’ve reviewed but also quite old.

Exploring the Dashboard

Dashboard Overview

thumbnail.png?time=104When you log into Writeseed, you’re welcomed by a straightforward dashboard. Let’s break down what you see:

  • AI Images: A new feature that wasn’t available before.
  • Custom Templates: Allows for more personalized content creation.
  • Posts and Ads Section: A variety of tools for creating different types of content.
  • Chrome Extension: Handy tool that we’ll explore in more detail later.
  • Search Bar: A recent and much-needed addition.

Categories and Templates

Writeseed has a variety of templates for content creation, especially for articles and blogs. Here’s what stands out:

  • Article and Blog Templates: Very robust.
  • Ad Copy: Useful for marketers.
  • Social Templates: Somewhat lacking in variety.

E-Commerce and Niche Templates

Writeseed has specific templates for e-commerce like Amazon listings and Zillow listings (surprising for a writing tool, but there it is). However, customization options are limited, especially around model selection for creating content.

E-Commerce Example

thumbnail.png?time=229The e-commerce templates seem adequate for basic needs but may lack in-depth customization for specific niches.

Writing Features

Let’s dive into the core writing features available in Writeseed.

SEO Research and Full-Length Articles

Unlike competitors, Writeseed can produce decent articles. They are not publication-quality but are good for basic needs.

SEO Research Tool

The SEO research functionality is very basic but better than nothing. It somewhat mimics Surfer SEO but is much simpler.

Pro Writer Mode

thumbnail.png?time=344Pro Writer mode allows for some manual content creation. Commands are scattered around the interface, which can be confusing. Highlighting text and letting AI write it for you is possible but comes with bugs that need fixing like the headers(see video to fully understand).

Essay Writer and Paraphrasing Tools

Great for students but be aware of academic plagiarism detection systems. The paraphrasing tool works well when used in smaller sections due to context window limitations.

Its a shame that you can’t drop full articles in but it is still usable.

Batch Article Creator and WordPress Integration

The batch article creator is a stand-out feature. It allows you to generate multiple articles at once and even schedule them for WordPress. However, connection issues might occur if you use a custom URL.

thumbnail.png?time=712Side-by-side comparison shows that Writeseed looks almost identical to WPAutoBlog. You might as well use Writeseed for all your needs given its broader functionality but there are features and extras that Writeseed does not have.

AI Images and Custom Templates

AI Images

Writeseed’s new AI Image generation is pretty promising. It’s using the latest models like Flux to create images although consistency can be an issue.

Custom Template Example

thumbnail.png?time=1096Creating custom templates is relatively easy but lacks detailed control. You can generate simple prompts, but more complex models and options might be needed.

Social Media Posts and Ads

The social media posting tool is highly disappointing with limited variance and styles. It doesn’t cater well to different platform requirements and in my opinion is a complete fail for almost all situations.

Chrome Extension

Writeseed’s Chrome extension has potential but falls short compared to others like Harpa or Voila. It doesn’t allow for adjusting models or uploading documents and has no vision capabilities.

It also can not see any webpage content at all so its just a chat interface with a seemingly poor AI on the backend.

They really need to upgrade the AI it uses to 4o mini at the very least and give it some kind of function like being able to see the content of the webpage you are on.

Quote

“A great idea that was completely missed.”

Pricing

Writeseed’s standout feature is its unlimited word count, making it excellent value for money.

Plans

  • 2 Codes: $80 for unlimited words.
  • 3 Codes and beyond add AI images and extended features up to 4 Codes for unlimited images and WordPress connections.

thumbnail.png?time=1434Even with its shortcomings, the pricing makes Writeseed a strong contender for anyone needing bulk content creation.

Final Thoughts

Writeseed is far from the best AI writer but offers incredible value for unlimited content creation. The platform has limitations, especially in social media features and Chrome extension capabilities. However, for the price, it’s hard to beat. If you’re looking for an all-in-one tool for a variety of writing needs, Writeseed is worth considering.
